Welcome to Our Catechism Program
Our parish catechism program is a vibrant journey of faith for children and youth ages 6–15. We begin with our Heroes of Faith classes, where young hearts discover the principles of our faith. Then, they will learn about inspiring figures from the Bible and the lives of the saints. As they grow, students prepare to receive the Sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation, deepening their understanding of God’s love and their call to live as disciples of Christ. Together, we learn, pray, and serve—building a strong foundation for a lifetime of faith.
Welcome to a new year of catechesis, 2025-2026
We are happy to welcome every child and family who will be part of this faith journey during the 2025–2026 school year. This will be a time to learn, share, grow in faith, and draw closer to Jesus through God’s Word and the sacraments.
We hope that each gathering will be an opportunity for the children to discover God’s love, strengthen their Christian life, and joyfully live their belonging to the Church. Thank you for your commitment and support. With God’s help and everyone’s collaboration, this will be a blessed year!
Catechesis program
- Ages 6–8: First group of “Heroes of God.”
- Age 9: First year of preparation for First Communion.
- Age 10: Second year of preparation for First Communion.
- Ages 11–12, after having received First Communion: Second group of “Heroes of God.”
- Age 13: First year of Confirmation.
- Age 14: Second year of Confirmation.
Those who have already completed the first year of First Communion or Confirmation will continue to the corresponding second year.
